Position Summary: Lead Cloud Engineer

Caremark, L.L.C., a CVS Health company, is hiring for a Lead Cloud Engineer in Woonsocket, RI. The role involves building, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software web applications and systems to support CVS business needs and end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cloud-native application development, web development, and API integration, scaling them in real-time to meet internal users and end-customer needs.
• Participate in the entire software lifecycle including development, testing, CI/CD, and production operations.
• Develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, standardize data, and generate insights to address reporting needs.
• Write ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
• Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
• Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and design and optimize queries to build data pipelines.
• Use programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
• Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers.
• Integrate data from a variety of sources, ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards.
• Analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities, recommending solutions.
• Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions that meet requirements dictated by the model/use case.

Multiple Positions - Requirements:

A Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer and Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Required experience includes two (2) years in each of the following:

• SQL development
• Reporting and data migration tools, including SQL Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services
• Analysis of databases, including data profiling, relationships, attributes, data transfer, and data transformation
• Data flow and web services tasks
• XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
• Design of Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes

Compensation:

Pay Range: $111,800.00/year to $162,700.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
