Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Analytics Manager to supervise our Analytics team and play a crucial role in delivering topnotch analytics to our esteemed clients. As a Manager, you’ll set the strategic and operational basis for data-driven marketing initiatives. You'll work toward achieving client goals through brand and acquisition campaigns, optimization of email offers, development of KPI's, and formulating email testing strategies. Your everyday role includes:
Responsibilities
- Fostering close relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business aims, data capabilities and how data fits into their overall strategy
- Leading cross-functional projects and building close relationships with other domains
- Designing and implementing custom analytics solutions using Tableau, SQL, and Excel
- Identifying key challenges and goals for internal and client needs with minimal guidance
- Setting up Tableau dashboards to highlight key insights for email marketing campaigns
- Creating comprehensive and visually appealing reports using Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and SQL
- Managing and mentoring 1 to 2 employees
Communication Skills
- Contributing to internal and client discussions after synthesizing input and feedback
- Independently presenting internal and client presentations and necessary outlines
- Delivering materials with confidence, comfortable about providing appropriate responses to questions not directly tied to the presentation
- Showing optimism in meetings by offering ideas and suggestions and a command over tasks and work
- Feeling at ease leading team discussions and presenting alternative solutions
- Able to compose client documents from scratch with minimal reliance on templates and little supervision
- Transforming data into visually appealing presentations, adjusting formats and tables as needed, and focusing on storytelling
Client Engagement
- Being the day-to-day internal data source while becoming the client's go-to resource for specific business areas
- Displaying professional, articulate, and mature behavior in all aspects of client relationship building
- Understanding how to document and respond to client feedback, recognizing when to escalate issues
- Questions and output reflect in-depth knowledge of the client's business – financials, industry economics, competitive dynamics, marketing channels, and client strategic issues
Tools & Techniques
- Demonstriping proficiency in various data tools, platforms and techniques
- Expertise in statistical concepts and one programming language
- Ability to assist in all aspects of vendor assessments
- Proactively identifying own learning gaps and seeking to address them through internal resources or asking experts
Analytics
- Planning and Implementation
- Being capable of independently executing all steps involved in learning agendas / measurement plans
- Proactively solving problems with measurement plan implementation
- Insight Generation
- Being able to independently draw insights from extracted and manipulated data, and providing recommendations for data extraction process improvements
- Consistently demonstrating the ability to infer implications from analysis and fine-tuning approach
- Consistently utilizing insights across disciplines to generate and provide actionable recommendations to the client
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of professional experience in Data, Analytics, and related fields
- Profound understanding of email marketing / planning
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related scientific discipline
- Experience implementing reporting dashboards for global brands
- Passionate about email marketing and upcoming trends in the electronics market
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau is essential
- Must be a problem solver with a sharp analytical mind
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel – Macros, vLookup, pivot tables, and the like
- Experience with international teams is a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary
- Highly precise, accurate, and meticulous, autonomous, strong critical thinker
- Must be proactive and take the initiative
- An excellent communicator - able to write clearly and speak professionally
- Experience in SQL and Tableau is a must
