The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with partners within the Analytics team, Customer Success, and the Center of Excellence team, along with other teams throughout the company and in the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This role will examine client data to uncover valuable business insights. Duties will span across multiple strategic initiatives, including analyzing our clients' retention rates and churn, measuring the effectiveness of customer success roles, and assisting with risk assessment and mitigation for our clients. The position calls for someone with robust analytical and technical skills who can comfortably operate across several functional areas in a rapidly changing, demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be the analytical and technical thought-partner to Customer Success stakeholder teams, assisting in developing actionable insights from a vast stretch of customer and product data.
- Define KPIs that enable the business to better understand trends and opportunities.
- Design and build automated dashboards to enable stakeholders to address their data and analytical needs independently.
- Compose and maintain complex queries to conduct thorough analyses aimed at enhancing operational performance.
- Utilize statistical knowledge to conduct analyses that aid partner teams in making faster, more informed decisions.
- Increase the team's efficiency: Investigate and implement new tools/processes; seek out and automate existing labor-intensive manual processes.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of practical analytics experience, ideally at a software company.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, etc.).
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with Python or R.
- Capability to query, modify and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop action-oriented recommendations.
- Experience creating automated dashboards designed for user self-service, ideally in Tableau.
- Knowledge of applied statistics and experience with regression analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and set priorities with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-guided manner.
