About the Role
As a Senior ML Engineer at Neo Cybernetica, you will own semantic segmentation and object detection pipelines, train and evaluate computer vision models, and work with cutting edge perception technology. You will be able to make architectural decisions and see your work applied to solve complex AI challenges.
In this role, you will work very closely with various highly skilled researchers and engineers in a unique team where your skills and expertise will make an impact on building something groundbreaking.
About You
You are a proactive and thorough engineer passionate about software development, always leaving the code at a better state than you found it. You stay on top of the latest standards and techniques and love coming up with new ideas as much as you love building them and getting to the bottom of things and coming up with phenomenal solutions.
Your Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Excellent Python programming skills, having experience with C++, CUDA is a big plus.
- Growing expertise with ML frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow or JAX.
- Hands-on experience in one/multiple CV tasks: 2D/3D Object Detection, Scene/Instance Segmentation, Object Tracking, Generative Networks, etc.
- Have a proven track record in creating and implementing complex machine learning systems.
What Will Make You Standout:
- Specific background with DSGs.
- Specific background with algorithmic optimization applied to deep learning algorithms.
- Specific background in perception for autonomous vehicles, drones, other land vehicles, and/or industry robotics.
- Experience working with (but not necessarily building) traditional SLAM and navigation systems.
- Hands-on research/application experience in one/multiple SLAM tasks: Localization, trajectory estimation, 3d mapping and mesh reconstruction, DSGs, etc.
