Job Description Summary
As a Tactical Planner, you will be instrumental in driving and managing the Master Production Schedule for the tactical horizon (3 to 24 months). You will ensure that capacity and resources are allocated to support the agreed demand plan, satisfy customer requirements, and maintain the interface between the site and its customers. This role also involves providing visibility of the supply plan to customers and upholding the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish an optimal master production schedule for the tactical horizon of months 3/4 to 24.
- Determine production volumes based on demand, rough cut capacity analysis, and resource allocation.
- Provide clear visibility of the current supply plan to customers and monitor delivery commitments in accordance with SLAs.
- Develop action plans to address resource constraints and manage supply KPI reporting and analysis.
- Ensure appropriate SKU inventories at the next supply chain point.
- Confirm supply orders and firm production orders at the entry point of the time fence.
- Enhance and utilize SAP knowledge for improved service, cost efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Integrate and reconcile activities between the Global NTO Supply Chain and Finance.
- Monitor, control, and improve supply chain processes through managing SC projects at the platform level.
- Ensure compliance with Custom and Trade laws and regulations.
- Create and maintain SLAs with related Planning Parameter setup in alignment with customers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders like CTC Country Managers, Regional Head of Logistics, and SCM.
- Support regional logistics functions on various projects and cost-saving opportunities.
- Align Master Production Schedule (MPS) to the production plan approved in S&OP.
- Facilitate Supply Review Meetings and support the entire S&OP process.
- Lead Monthly Demand Review Meetings to discuss demand assumptions, trends, and variances.
- Manage short-term demand control activities and provide inputs to the Master Planning Schedule (MPS) and detailed scheduling.
- Lead the implementation of LC projects to ensure compliant drug supplies, on time and in quality.
- Maintain a detailed Change Over Plan (COP) for LC projects.
- Track key performance indicators such as Inventory Management, Cost Efficiency, and Customer Service Levels.
