Role and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
- Gain deep understanding of products and services, translating complex information into simple, engaging content
- Develop and maintain a detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Outline, write, and edit content while collaborating with various departments to meet project requirements
- Identify documentation repositories, revise and edit content, and determine optimal solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates adhering to legal and organizational standards
- Define analytics requirements in collaboration with company leads
- Produce graphics for inclusion in finished intelligence products
- Assist in refining large data sets for the team’s analysis cycle
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) on multiple ZeroFox proprietary tools
- Gather, process, and visualize large data sets with high proficiency in relevant tools
- Create intelligence products in various graphical forms
- Comfortable working in a flexible, small team environment
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in research and analysis involving large data sets
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools
- Interest in developing data storytelling skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- High proficiency in SQL and experience with tools such as Postgres, BigQuery, and Excel
- Experience in statistics, including hypothesis testing, regressions, and data normalization
- Experience developing and documenting data models
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Analytics experience, typically obtained in 2+ years
- Solid understanding of databases and ETL processes
- Ability to learn and understand complex subject matter quickly
- Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for diverse audiences
- Superb written communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Experience improving user experience with engineers, refining content, and creating visuals for technical support
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, data science, computer science, or a related field
- Previous experience in software development
- Professional certification (e.g., Society for Technical Communication)
- Experience using XML tools to create documentation
- 3+ years of experience in full-time data analysis teams
- Experience designing self-service analytics
- Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and understanding of indicators of compromise (IOC)
- Experience working with the US government or adjacent organizations
- Comfortable operating in a small team environment
- Certifications in common scripting languages
- Training in common visualization tools (PowerBI, Google Sheets, etc.)
