About the Role

Meta is on the lookout for a dynamic Visiting Researcher to make a significant impact on our Generative AI Team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research to enhance the science and technology of intelligent machines.
• Focus on research that facilitates the understanding of data semantics across multiple modalities including images, video, and text.
• Develop innovative algorithms and models rooted in the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, particularly within generative AI.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prospective or recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Progress towards or completion of a PhD in Computer Science or a relevant technical area.
• At least 2 years of experience in tackling analytical challenges using quantitative approaches, with a history of manipulating and analyzing high-volume, complex data sets.
• Proficient understanding of machine learning, optimization, and deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch).
• Demonstrated experience with published papers in peer-reviewed AI or computer vision conferences such as CVPR, ECCV, or NeurIPS.
• Eligibility to work in the country of employment upon hiring with continuous authorization throughout employment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex research clearly and concisely.
• First author publications at major AI or computer vision conferences.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing research and engineering proficiency through various recognitions like grants, fellowships, or patents.
• Experience in developing solutions that consider a range of alternatives and perspectives to determine the best path forward.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
• Experience in disseminating research findings to both peer and public audiences.
