Position: Junior Data Scientist

The Junior Data Scientist at Amaze will collaborate with company executives to find ways to optimize business operations and spearhead new initiatives. Responsibilities include analyzing company databases and external data sources, performing statistical calculations, and creating insightful presentations to highlight business growth areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create detailed reports for internal teams and external clients.
  • Work closely with team members to collect and analyze data.
  • Visualize data using graphs, infographics, and other methods.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
  • Organize large data sets to uncover actionable insights.
  • Work with a team of scientists and associates to process and analyze data.
  • Develop presentations and reports based on data insights and recommendations.

Required Competencies:

  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Expertise in reporting and data visualization.
  • Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of data reporting software (Tableau).
  • Familiarity with data storage solutions (Snowflake).
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4 preferred.
