Role Overview: People Operations Specialist

As our team expands, we face new challenges pertaining to our growth. As a People Operations Specialist, you will handle key administrative tasks within our People team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed.
  • Process employment-related paperwork, including contracts, amendments, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare payroll information and handle employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of new HR policies as needed.
  • Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate background checks and reference verifications.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates and manage applicant tracking.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in HR, Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in global startups or tech companies.
  • Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, and result-driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English.
  • High energy levels, optimism, and positivity.
  • Team player with innovative ideas.
  • Ability to work remotely from Portugal.
