Graduate Machine Learning Engineer

The Central Technology - Machine Learning (CT-ML) team at Arm is on a mission to advance ML Compute on ARM platforms. We believe that the future of machine learning lies in a collaborative approach across hardware, software, and algorithms. Our CT-ML Algorithms team is dedicated to excelling in ML content analysis, algorithm development, and tool creation to drive this unified effort forward.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of ML workloads and create algorithms and optimization techniques to enhance Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) on current and future Arm platforms.
  • Analyze ML workloads and serve as an expert to support all phases of ARM IP development.
  • Devise and prototype algorithms on current platforms to support future architecture exploration.
  • Create internal tooling capabilities to support algorithmic and architecture exploration.

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals who:

  • Are pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
  • Have proficiency in computer architecture and basic knowledge of hardware and software design.
  • Have experience working with large software systems using programming languages like Python.
  • Are knowledgeable in state-of-the-art deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Desired Qualities

To stand out, your application might showcase:

  • Experience with ML Model Optimization techniques aimed at ARM compute platforms.
  • Adaptability to the fast-moving ML industry and a willingness to learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.
