Duration: 11 Months Contract (Potential for Temp to Perm)

Pay Rate: $68.38/hr.

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday; 9AM-5PM)

Position Overview

Belcan is looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer for our BADS team. You will collaborate with science teams to transition research into production-ready solutions. This unique position blends machine learning expertise, particularly in natural language processing and computer vision, with strong engineering skills and a product-centric mindset. You will be responsible for developing and deploying innovative ML systems, integrating them into products, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with CI/CD best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development and operationalization of production-level solutions.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate ML solutions with partner products.
• Design experimentation processes and frameworks in collaboration with our scientists.
• Promote best practices in software development, MLOps, and experimentation.
• Perform model training and data preprocessing.
• Provide ongoing support for models and lifecycle management.
• Develop solutions within AWS products.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in programming or a related field (additional qualifications in statistics or mathematics are a plus).
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of ML experience in a prior role.
• High preference for candidates with a prior ML title.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow and the R programming language.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of machine learning experience.
• Bachelor's degree in programming or a related field (additional statistics or mathematical degrees are advantageous).
• Experience in AWS development, with the ability to build within AWS products.
