What You'll Do

As a Product Advocate on Cloudflare's Self-Serve team, you'll help customers on the Developer Platform scale their product adoption and discover new use cases. This customer-facing role involves working directly with Self-Serve customers to enhance adoption, retention, and engagement, ultimately leading to contractual commitments. As a quota-carrying representative, you'll collaborate with teams across Self Serve, Product, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and GTM to strategically expand our developer business. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a GTM expert for our Developer Platform, particularly in Storage Products (e.g., R2, D1, KV, Durable Objects), Application and Compute (e.g., Pages and Workers), Media (e.g., Images and Stream), and AI (e.g., Workers AI, Vectorize, AI Gateway).
  • Identify and determine ideal use cases for current and future developer customers, expand customer consumption and minimize churn through high-touch account coverage.
  • Run targeted campaigns collaboratively with developer marketing teams to increase usage and promote new product adoption.
  • Collaborate with Developer Advocacy and Marketing to engage developers through outreach and support marketing efforts like events and webinars.
  • Enhance the customer experience for Startup Program participants, acting as their main GTM contact from onboarding to completion.
  • Work with Account Executives to support Developer Pay-As-You-Go customers, either through Self-Serve adoption or contract commitments.
  • Provide insights and updates on customer trends to the broader Developer GTM Team.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • 5+ years of Cloud Sales experience with a focus on developer-centric selling.
  • Independent, self-motivated professional with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to multitask and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and knowledgeable in SQL.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Tableau, Big Query, BoostUp is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills for handling and interpreting large datasets.
  • Proven ability to nurture and grow long-term customer relationships.

Compensation

Compensation may vary based on location:

  • Colorado-based hires: Estimated salary $176,000 - $216,000 annually.
  • New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated salary $184,000 - $224,000 annually.
  • Bay Area-based hires: Estimated salary $194,000 - $237,000 annually.
