Job Responsibilities

As a Designer at Discourse, you'll be a creative generalist. Your tasks will include:

• Working with Discourse Customer Success Managers to meet design needs and priorities.
• Maintaining client-specific design requirements.
• Implementing large batches of design changes to existing themes and components.
• Collaborating on multiple customer projects and developing new open-source themes during quieter times.
• Providing support on our Meta forum and assisting customers via email.

Requirements

We are looking for a designer who:

• Possesses strong knowledge of HTML, CSS (we use SASS), and web standards.
• Has experience building themes for Discourse (preferred).
• Holds intermediate JavaScript skills.
• Can interpret and implement brand guidelines effectively.
• Thrives in a collaborative design environment.
