Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Factspan, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable machine learning solutions.
• Develop and deploy machine learning pipelines using Vertex AI and Kubeflow for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation at scale in production on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Implement real-time data processing and streaming pipelines using Google Pub/Sub and Dataflow.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of machine learning algorithms and infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of machine learning solutions within the existing infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Keras.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning techniques, and model evaluation metrics.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for machine learning applications.
• Understanding of data privacy and security standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
