Role Overview

We are hiring a passionate Azure Cloud Engineer for a remote contract position. Your primary task will be to assist in implementing an Azure API Management strategy and observability for our client. Key skills required for this role include:

• Managing APIs with Azure API Management, including understanding products and policies
• Configuring observability in Azure API Management:
  • Integration with Azure Log Analytics to collect metrics
  • Logging requests with Azure Application Insights
  • Setting up dashboards and alert configurations
• Integrating Azure API Management with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID and Okta

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• 5-6 years of experience designing and implementing solutions with Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management service
• Proficiency in understanding REST APIs
• Familiarity with identity protocols like OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Comfortable working afternoon hours to accommodate our US clients
• Proficiency in both Polish and English

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with Azure API Management
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics Workspace, and Azure Application Insights
• Expertise in Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
