About Us

FutureSight is seeking a Co-founder & CTO for our stealth startup, a FutureSight venture. Our mission is to deliver ground-breaking business insights to MSP owners. We help MSPs understand the information locked in their key business systems and enable them to take definitive actions to save costs and generate new revenues. We are a small team with pre-seed funding, launched via a venture studio. We have multiple customers ready to deploy our solution once operational. We seek an entrepreneur to join the CEO and founding team, leading engineering efforts in the capacity of a founding CTO. The CEO has a track record of success in the MSP industry.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to define technology strategy and drive the execution of our product roadmap.
• Develop and maintain the full stack of our MSP business intelligence solution, including front-end user interfaces, back-end infrastructure, NLP integration, and third-party software interfaces. Implement scalable, secure, and compliant applications focusing on user experience and performance.
• Build and grow the product and engineering team.
• Support fundraising activities, including pitching to investors, securing venture capital, and managing investor relations.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of core technologies like AI/ML, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pre-trained Models, and NLP.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for infrastructure management and deployment.
• Proven track record of contributing to open-source projects.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
• Experience as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases and familiarity with big data processing.
• Experience building and maintaining web portals using basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience developing highly secure and compliant applications.

Entrepreneurial and Leadership Skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset willing to work in a fast-paced and continuously changing startup environment. A detail-oriented team player who can start a product from zero and take it to market.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Leadership experience in building, managing, and growing engineering teams.
• Effective project management and strategic alignment of technology with business goals.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate engineering and product teams.
• Independent worker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
• Business acumen with a good understanding of the company's industry and market landscape.

Good to Have

• Experience in the IT managed services industry or corporate IT network operations/service desk (any ticketing system).
• Knowledge of corporate IT Network Admin best practices and ITIL frameworks.
