Your Responsibilities
- Enhance the speed and accuracy of our ML platform by innovating architecture modifications for 2D and 3D graph neural networks, and swiftly implementing and testing them using PyTorch.
- Stay abreast of deep learning research, particularly in graph neural nets and graph generative models, and rapidly prototype new ideas from current literature.
- Thoroughly analyze molecular datasets, creating statistically robust train, validate, and test sets to maximize model training for real-world prediction and generation tasks.
- Develop inventive featurizations of 2D and 3D molecular structures inspired by physical and chemical principles, enhancing our neural networks' data utilization.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and medicinal chemists to ensure our ML platform adapts optimally to varying use cases.
Your Qualifications
- A proficient software engineer capable of writing code swiftly while maintaining high standards of code quality.
- Comfortable with linear algebra and statistics.
- Experienced in applying traditional ML techniques and/or deep learning to real-world challenges.
- A Cartesian thinker who prefers reasoning from first principles over pattern matching.
- Keen on learning about machine learning, biochemistry, and the drug development process.
