About the Role: Machine Learning Engineer

GoHealth seeks a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our expanding Machine Learning team. You will develop machine learning and AI solutions that enhance our ability to match individuals with the right healthcare plans. This role plays a critical part in model training, feature engineering, parameter optimization, and integrating models into our software products. This position reports directly to our Lead Machine Learning Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to optimize the performance, reliability, and accuracy of our proprietary models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Product team to develop innovative AI & ML solutions, driving efficiency and growth.
• Work with Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable MLOps pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in Python.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• 2+ years of experience building and deploying models (regression, classification, clustering, time-series).
• 2+ years of experience with ML pipelines on AWS, Databricks, GCP, or Azure.
• Advanced knowledge in machine learning and statistical techniques (Bayesian statistics, PCA, boosting, bagging, bootstrapping).
• Experience with large language models is a plus.
• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline.
