Job Summary
Our Professional Services team seeks a customer-focused Senior Project Manager with proven enterprise program delivery expertise to drive successful InsuranceNow implementations.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a comprehensive Project Roadmap for customer support efforts.
- Manage project budget forecasts and synchronize timing between work requests.
- Draft statements of work and negotiate terms with customers.
- Oversee single or multiple implementation and support projects.
- Provide leadership and prioritization for project teams, adapting to different SDLC methods.
- Develop and nurture strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent communication.
- Manage project expectations and escalate delays, ensuring mitigation/resolution of issues and risks.
- Prepare and present project updates to customer stakeholders regularly.
- Align production support needs with implementation activities to meet customer requirements.
- Determine and enforce ‘Implementation Support’ budget with customer sponsors.
- Travel as necessary, typically during new customer kickoffs - travel less than 25% required.
- Work primarily in the East Coast time zone.
Qualifications
- Proven large enterprise program delivery experience, preferably within the P&C insurance industry.
- Extensive SaaS software implementation expertise and executive-level customer interaction.
- Comprehensive project management experience, including managing complex enterprise projects.
- Proficiency in working across multiple projects in a matrixed organization.
- Experience guiding implementation partners and managing multi-functional projects.
- Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing global resources, including onshore and offshore teams.
- Technical knowledge of Java enterprise projects and Microsoft applications.
- Successful migration of applications/data from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Degree in information technology or business-related field.
