About the Company

Our client, Hamilton Porter, is a fast-growing marketing technology company recently recognized on the Deloitte Fastest Growing Companies list. Positioned at the cutting edge of AI, ML, NLP, and omni-channel communication, the company is experiencing rapid growth following a significant investment round.

The AI team, currently comprising 4 members including AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts, is expanding. This new role will report directly to the VP of Engineering.

Role Overview

As a Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, maintaining, deploying, and monitoring NLP, AI, and machine learning models that form the core of our client's platform and products. Ideal candidates will have extensive expertise in Natural Language Processing and a passion for staying abreast of the latest AI advancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and monitor NLP, AI, and Machine Learning models utilizing managed cloud services and custom solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing AI models to ensure optimal accuracy and performance.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Development and QA teams to seamlessly integrate AI/ML components into the platform.
  • Work closely with data scientists, leveraging industry best practices and tools to manage large data volumes efficiently.
  • Handle MLOps tasks, automating data retrieval, training, testing, and deployment of models in both lower environments and production.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in senior AI/ML engineering roles.
  • Degree in Computer Science with specialization in AI or Machine Learning, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Expertise in Natural Language Processing and Python.
  • Experience with libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Keras, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Hands-on understanding of AI and machine learning algorithms, including deep learning using RNNs, BERT for contextual understanding, and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency in deploying AI/ML models in public cloud environments like Azure and AWS, with exposure to LLMs and MLOps pipelines.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
