The Role in a Nutshell

As an Azure Solutions Architect at Kin + Carta, you will play a pivotal role in our Microsoft Alliance team. This customer-facing position involves owning the technical relationship and strategy between the customer and our organization. You will lead architectural design sessions, develop proof of concepts and pilots, implement projects, and deliver ongoing refinement and enhancement. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cloud technologies and eager to continuously learn and grow.

What You Can Expect

• Advise stakeholders by translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Assist in designing, building, and implementing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Understand customers’ overall infrastructure estate, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions.
• Grasp the foundation for app migration and modernization.
• Understand the implementation of AI services on Azure.
• Collaborate with the team to define project requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for secure cloud deployment.
• Continually analyze the current technology environment for deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Experience in data estate modernization.

The Type of Person We’d Like to Meet

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Studio, Azure ML, Power Platform, and other Azure services.
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
• Good knowledge of networking, identity, and security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect – Associate.

The Interview Process at Kin + Carta

Here’s an overview of what to expect during our interview process:

Intro Call with the Talent Team (30 mins) - Our Talent team will reach out if your skills and experience match the role requirements. During this call, we aim to get to know you and for you to learn more about Kin + Carta. This call can be conducted via telephone or Zoom.

First-Stage Interview (30 minutes) - A Q&A style interview focused on your skills, experience, and motivations. This is also an excellent opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about our team and company.

Second-Stage Interview (60 minutes) - A technical interview where you will receive a brief in advance to prepare. This session will assess how you apply your skills and experience to our expectations for the role and allows you to meet more of our Kin (our colleagues at Kin + Carta).

Making a Decision - After the interviews, our hiring team will discuss feedback and make a final decision. We aim to provide feedback as quickly as possible.
