Machine Learning Engineer - Computer Vision at Leverege

Job Responsibilities

• Take the lead in planning, designing, and running experiments, researching new algorithms, and working closely with talented data scientists and engineers to implement algorithms and models to solve challenging computer vision problems.
• Architect, implement, and deliver Machine Learning projects from beginning to end. This includes understanding a business need, planning the project, aggregating & exploring data, building & validating predictive models, and deploying completed ML capabilities to the edge and cloud.
• Use Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch to build, train, optimize, validate, and deploy computer vision models.
• Apply best practices from core software development activities to Machine Learning (deployability, unit testing, well-structured extensible software, etc.) as well as scientific thinking (hypothesis testing, carefully tracking and ensuring repeatability of all experiments/jobs).
• Work on terabyte-scale datasets, creating scalable, robust, and accurate computer vision systems in versatile application fields.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Cloud Services (e.g. GCP, AWS).
• Highly organized with a strong grasp of industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art computer vision models (object detection, classification, segmentation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in solving problems using Computer Vision.
• Solid understanding of cloud products, particularly AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Academic research background in the applied domain of expertise.
