About Our Client

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our research team in Miami. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). You will contribute to enhancing our AI capabilities, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that drive operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced machine learning models to meet specific business needs and project goals.
• Manage the entire AI system development lifecycle, including data collection, model development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to preprocess data, extract features, and develop scalable algorithms.
• Integrate AI solutions within the company’s technology ecosystem, leveraging cloud-based services such as those provided by Azure when appropriate.
• Conduct ongoing testing and optimization of models to improve performance and impact, using a variety of metrics and stakeholder feedback.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within cross-functional teams.

About You

• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Azure, including services related to AI and machine learning.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture principles.
• Practical experience deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, with specialized coursework or projects in machine learning and AI.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of AI system design concepts and familiarity with data engineering.
• Experience in identifying high-value AI use cases and contributing to strategic AI initiatives.
• Expertise in working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and deployment in production environments.
• Skills in ongoing model testing and optimization to improve business impact.
