As a Program Manager, you will interface with client and government leadership on project-related topics, provide guidance to the project team, handle administrative tasks related to government contracting (including staffing, financials, and reporting), and seize opportunities to support the client on other initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships.
• Maintain communication and delivery with government contracts and technical representatives.
• Support team development, hold teams accountable, and remove work roadblocks.
• Define and manage project processes, championing ongoing process improvements.
• Promote team empowerment, ensuring active engagement and quality contributions.
• Manage project financials, ensuring a healthy gross margin, appropriate staff utilization, and accurate financial documentation.
• Lead and manage task assignments and team completion.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and manage impacts of project scope changes.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Escalate project risks to MetroStar and client stakeholders.
• Report to a MetroStar Director or Vice President for support, guidance, and resources.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of ten (10) years of IT Project Management experience, with a focus on agile projects.
• At least two (2) years of specialized experience leading IT DevSecOps projects, managing teams of twelve (12) or more.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business process analysis and change management.
• Proven experience in executing agile programs incorporating AI/ML.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing large, complex programs for Federal clients.
• Strong experience in project strategy, planning, leadership, and motivation.
• Experience monitoring and managing IT program financials and staffing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to implement improvements for quality and customer excellence.
