Research Focus Areas:

• Face and Voice Biometrics using AI, including Deep Neural Networks and Convolutional Neural Networks
• Innovative algorithms like our patented p-vector and optimized x-vector for feature extraction
• Anti-spoofing techniques to protect against voice and face biometric fraud

Role Overview:

As the Head of Infrastructure, you will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of MitekSystems 2's infrastructure and internal information security. Your responsibilities include managing cloud budgets, preparing annual plans, conducting access control reviews, collaborating with corporate teams, ensuring data governance, and leading ML Ops and DevOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Budget Planning: Manage budgets for AWS and GCP, track monthly spending, and prepare reports for top-management.
• Annual Operational Planning (AOP): Prepare annual infrastructure plans and share them with technical roles and stakeholders.
• Access Control Review: Conduct quarterly reviews and ensure compliance with System Access Control Policy.
• Collaboration and Data Governance: Align strategies with Mitek infrastructure teams, control data flows, and provide regular cost and access control reports.
• CloudOps Management: Lead CloudOps initiatives, including cloud service configuration and infrastructure support.
• Infrastructure Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and diagrams in Miro.
• Business Continuity: Protect cloud systems from risks, ensure backups, and participate in BCP exercises.
• MLOps and DevOps Leadership: Handle requests from ML teams, configure CI pipelines, and implement new cloud/deployment technologies.
• InfoSecurity: Maintain internal policies, compliance in audits, and cloud security planning.
• OKRs/KPIs Setting: Set and monitor objectives for tech lead roles and teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure management, focused on cloud environments (AWS and GCP)
• Proven experience in budgeting, access control, and data governance
• Strong leadership skills and experience in setting/managing OKRs/KPIs
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and written/spoken English skills
• Proficiency in cloud security, business continuity planning, and infrastructure support
• Experience with MLOps and DevOps practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Linux, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
