Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Operations Project Manager for our Retail/Grocery Solutions team. This remote position is available in the USA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing critical client projects involving consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers, retailers, and omnichannel partners. Your role will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

In this role, you will oversee various initiatives and projects, manage their progress and completion, and meet the expectations of our clients. Key responsibilities include designing, communicating, and implementing project plans with schedules, resources, and budgets. You will monitor progress and performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your in-depth knowledge of project management will enable you to adapt and meet the ever-changing demands of our organization, helping us become more efficient, effective, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Determine resource availability and allocate resources accordingly
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement using appropriate systems, tools, and methodologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of proven project management experience, successfully managing projects through their full life cycle
  • A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail operations and processes preferred
  • Strong understanding of formal project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to solve problems creatively
