Key Responsibilities
- Work with Engineering Leadership to scale a robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Foster a "shift left" culture for platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Oversee On-Call and Incident Management processes and procedures.
- Manage and prioritize work through an effective, agile process.
- Mentor team members, providing feedback and guidance to support their growth.
- Leverage your technical expertise to lead architecture and design decisions, occasionally engaging hands-on with non-critical projects.
- Promote a collaborative, remote-first working culture.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading remote reliability, infrastructure, and/or software engineering teams.
- Proven track record in driving the execution of high-value projects end-to-end.
- Expertise in modern public cloud infrastructure, observability, and distributed systems.
- Excellent planning and communication skills.
- Ability to translate abstract ideas into actionable plans for your team.
- Enthusiastic about growing and mentoring your team, with a history of promoting team members.
- Data-driven, with experience using tools like JIRA and Sheets to inform decisions.
- Passion for implementing and coaching Agile development processes.
