Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for executing test suites and identifying any regressions in existing features. This remote position ideally aligns with PST timezone hours, collaborating closely with our QA lead based in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with QA Lead to run detailed and comprehensive test steps.
• Perform various types of black-box testing including functional, system, data integrity, smoke, regression, and ad hoc.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and manage testing activities.
• Ensure alignment with QA Lead and engineering teams.
• Submit detailed defects through our bug-tracking system.
• Verify defects, record test results, and provide metrics as necessary.
• Test software applications at all development life cycle stages.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering, Testing, Quality Assurance, or Deployment.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and peer review.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of technology concepts.
• Proven track record of delivering features on time and within budget.
• Flexible, organized, and solution-focused.
• Passion for developing technical solutions.

Preferred Advantages:

• Experience with Chrome extensions.
• Familiarity with load testing tools.
