Compensation Overview

We offer a competitive annual base salary range which varies by location, skills, education, training, and experience. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

Salary Range

$159,000.00 - $262,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

As a Lead Architect, you will spearhead the technology target state for the Shared Platforms Unit of our global, Dow 30 company. Reporting directly to a member of the Enterprise Architecture and Emerging Technology leadership team, you'll work closely with senior technology leaders to evolve our business and technology capabilities, creating best-in-class solutions. You will:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Technology Architecture for the Shared Platforms business unit
  • Collaborate with Senior leadership to develop architecture priorities and direction
  • Promote modern architecture principles and technology modernization
  • Drive continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt
  • Forge partnerships with Senior Software Engineering leadership
  • Analyze key industry and technology trends to assess their impact
  • Define and lead technology proof of concepts
  • Engage in hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions
  • Drive architecture decisions that optimize the value of our investments
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive communications on architectural directions

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s in technology-related field or equivalent with 7+ years of technology architecture experience
  • Mentorship experience for architecture leaders
  • Organizational and transformational Leadership experience in an agile model
  • Expertise in establishing strategic technology direction and architecture vision
  • Advanced Software Engineering experience
  • Proven ability to influence C-level leadership
  • Insurance technology experience (preferred)
  • Strong grasp of value creation and business capability models
  • Experience in technology modernization initiatives, including migration to cloud-native and API strategy
  • Current hands-on experience with AWS, APIs, accelerators, DevSecOps
  • Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or strong cloud architecture experience
  • Deep understanding of security and large-scale technology platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of ML and AI analytics techniques
  • Strong Salesforce knowledge, including hands-on experience with configuration and development
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with other SaaS products
  • Beneficial to have Salesforce product certifications

What is a Must Have?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Eight years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture
