About the Role: AI Tutor - Psychologist

Embark on a pioneering journey in AI-driven mental health! As an AI Tutor - Psychologist, you will be instrumental in developing AI models tailored to comprehend and interact with human psychology intricacies. Utilizing Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) techniques, you'll teach, evaluate, and challenge AI models, significantly advancing their capabilities in areas such as:

• Cognitive Processes: Enable AI to master attention, memory, language, problem-solving, and decision-making nuances.
• Social and Emotional Intelligence: Train AI to identify, interpret, and respond to human emotions, social cues, and interpersonal dynamics.
• Mental Health Conditions: Guide AI to distinguish between typical emotional experiences and symptoms of various mental health disorders.
• Ethical Considerations: Instill ethical conduct, patient privacy, and bias avoidance in AI models within a mental health context.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• AI Instruction: Deliver clear, engaging explanations of psychological concepts, theories, and research to AI models.
• Feedback & Evaluation: Assess AI responses to diverse prompts, offering detailed feedback to enhance their comprehension and accuracy.
• Red Teaming: Create challenging scenarios to test AI's psychological knowledge, highlighting potential biases or ethical concerns.
• RLHF Implementation: Collaborate with engineers and researchers to effectively incorporate your feedback within the RLHF framework.

About You

• Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology, or a related field. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree and significant practical experience may also be considered.
• Alternatively, an MD specializing in psychiatry with a demonstrated interest in AI applications.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex psychological concepts into clear explanations for both humans and AI.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a passion for exploring the intersection of AI and mental health.

Compensation

Pay Range: $15—$60 USD per hour
