About the Role

Shape the future of AI! As an AI Tutor - Technical Writing, you will have an essential role in guiding the evolution of AI. Your subject-matter expertise will be crucial in training and evaluating AI models, ensuring the generation of reliable and relevant information across diverse domains. This role offers a distinct pathway for professional development, allowing you to refine your AI expertise while enhancing your knowledge base.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated writing for factuality, completeness, brevity, and grammatical correctness.
• Review the work of other human writers.
• Create top-quality original content in response to prompts.
• Flexibility to set your own working hours based on project length.

About You

We are looking for individuals who have:

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and a knack for identifying errors or inconsistencies in writing.
• Enrollment as a junior or senior undergraduate in journalism, communications, technical writing, or a related field, or a background in scientific publications.
• Preferred qualifications include graduate students, Master's degree holders, or equivalent proficiency in technical writing.

Important Information

This is a freelance position compensated on an hourly basis. It is not an internship opportunity. Candidates must have authorization to work in their country of residence, as we do not offer sponsorship for this 1099 contract role. International students with a valid visa may be eligible to apply, but specific circumstances should be discussed with a tax or immigration advisor. We are unable to provide employment documentation at this time. Compensation rates vary for non-US locations.

Pay Range

Rate per hour: $15—$60 USD
