Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose business needs and transform them into analytical questions
- Collaborate with data scientists, consultants, and clients to translate findings into actionable insights
- Ensure quality delivery through cross-functional best practices
- Conduct detailed data analysis to understand internal and client data, process flows, policies, and procedures
- Provide ongoing customer and sales support, resolve issues, and uncover opportunities
- Develop, analyze, and interpret monitoring reports
- Utilize SAS to read and examine raw data, generate tables, graphs, and perform detailed data analysis
- Execute scorecard and portfolio monitoring using SAS, SQL, and Excel
- Conduct data auditing and validation, and identify data trends or patterns
- Present findings and recommendations to clients in an easily understandable manner
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and offshore associates to ensure model quality
- Analyze big data sets to derive deep insights on media effectiveness, market conditions, web navigation, and conversion activities
- Convert complex data into understandable stories and measurable actions
- Package model results into insightful client-friendly reports including ROI analysis, forecasting, and optimization
- Ensure rigorous quality control and anomaly detection in new data streams
- Participate in client meetings to discuss analytics and collaborate cross-functionally

Skills and Experience

- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Mathematics, or Informatics
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, SQL, and experience in Business Object and Dashboard creation
- Strong logical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listening, teamwork, presentation, and sales skills
- Focused, flexible, and organized
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations
- Ability to work with junior data scientists and offshore associates

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position with responsibilities performed both virtually and in-person at an assigned TransUnion office for at least two days a week.
