Join 15Five as a Part-Time Analytical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Analytical Engineer to join the 15Five team on a part-time, temporary basis. This position is US-based, and preference will be given to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone. The role requires 25-29 hours per week for a duration of three months.

Requirements

• Expert skills in SQL and experience with Python.
• Experience with modern data stacks.
• Data Warehousing expertise with Redshift preferred.
• Ability to administrate within a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in BI Tools, especially Tableau.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in architecting and building data models within the dbt framework.
• Experience with ETL/Reverse ETL tools like Fivetran.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging data system errors and building data tests across data warehouses.
• Proficiency in GIT.
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation and communicate with high precision.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and align existing models in DBT.
• Build new datasets and models to serve as sources of truth across our data platform.
• Remove model redundancies in dbt and Tableau.
• Assist with moving to Tableau Cloud and building centralized data.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to reduce duplicate work across production and analytical data warehouses.
• Build robust logical tests across dbt infrastructure.
• Upgrade product analytics tooling and capabilities.

The base salary range for this temporary, part-time role is $45-$75/hour. Please note that this is the base salary only and does not include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
