Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven team member to join our Analytics Center of Competence. You will help us develop intelligent, data-driven solutions for Agilent's Order Fulfillment and Supply Chain organization.

Job Overview

As an Analytics Solutions Engineer, you will:

• Consult with business customers to understand complex business problems and analysis needs.
• Develop technical requirements for reports and analysis to provide insights for business decision-makers.
• Identify internal and external data sources and work with IT to capture necessary data.
• Leverage data and apply statistical techniques to analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
• Use your knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ECC, HANA, MES) and coding skills (SQL, Python).
• Create data models, reports, analytics dashboards, and other insightful displays using business intelligence tools such as Qlik or Spotfire.
• Utilize cloud services such as AWS for developing data models and solutions.
• Augment solutions with machine learning and AI to enhance data insights.
• Apply disciplined project management to enable effective data insight solutions.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and support analytics solutions for Agilent’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions.
• Understand business problems and analytics/data needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical IT specifications.
• Design efficient data models for high-performance analytics solutions.
• Create effective analytics dashboards and other data insights/analysis solutions.
• Implement analytics/data solutions using project management processes.
• Collaborate independently with cross-functional partners and stakeholders across the US, Europe, and Asia.
• Provide training and documentation for analytics/data solutions.
• Manage and enhance analytics/data solutions throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Qlik Sense and/or Spotfire analytics tools.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and underlying supply chain processes and data.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Qlik scripting.
• Experience in data modeling for analytics, databases, and data warehousing in SAP HANA.
• Experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, and Sagemaker.
• Knowledge in AI/ML and AI tools (e.g., MS CoPilot Studio, Azure AI Studio).
• Strong UI/UX design skills for analytics dashboards/solutions.
• Experience in project management and understanding of project lifecycle stages.
• Awareness of Data Security, Compliance, and Governance.
• Ability to develop business cases, ROI and value creation strategies for analytics/data solutions.
• Proficiency in MS tools: Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Effective communication skills in a global workspace.
