The Job

2U is looking for a passionate Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence professional dedicated to making a difference. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, including working professionals and recent college graduates aspiring to transition into AI careers. As an instructor, you will have a direct impact on transforming the lives of our students.

This is a fully remote, part-time position.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentorship.
• Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning (Unsupervised and Supervised Learning), Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning and Neural Networks, Linear Regression, Transformers, and AI applications.
• Laptop, camera, and reliable internet access are mandatory. An additional monitor, microphone/headset are highly recommended.
• Positive attitude and the ability to deliver office hour session guides provided by 2U.
• Ability to share professional experiences and industry insights with students.
• Empathy, support, encouragement, and fun infused into the student experience.

Logistics

This part-time commitment spans a 24-week program. Choose from schedules that include M/T/TH or M/W/TH, with classes running from 5:45 PM to 10:00 PM, including office hours and breaks. Classes are conducted live and online.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly salary for this role is $43.92/hr - $47.06/hr. Note: Final compensation may consider factors including the geographic location of the candidate and their prior work experience.
