Job Description:

As the Systems Technician II at Northern Trust, your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive IT Asset Management services in accordance with AFMAN 17-1203 or the latest manual. Key duties include:

• Managing IT Equipment Control and ensuring all assets are configured and issued to the appropriate property custodians efficiently.
• Creating and maintaining 17 SDC and non-SDC images and ensuring that all equipment is up to date with baseline ISO deployment from AFCEDS.
• Undertaking Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) training and overseeing DPAS processes such as additions, changes, transfers, and DRMO requests.
• Administering training for IT Equipment Custodians (ITEC) and Unit Accountable Property Officers (UAPO) for multiple DPAS accounts.
• Managing asset life cycle including purchase, shipment, delivery, storage, and issuing, while maintaining asset cage inventory.

Necessary Skills and Education:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of related experience
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Asset Inventory Management
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+

Compensation:

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $24.52 and $33.18. However, the salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
