Job Opportunity

Position: Associate Director, Business Strategy and Operations, Global Statistical and Data Sciences (GSD)

The Associate Director of BSO is a business operations leader who collaborates with the GSD Leadership Team to ensure long-term operational excellence. Under the guidance of the Head of BSO, you will support GSD quality and vendor management, coordinate GSD Trial Master File (TMF) management, and oversee Inspection Readiness preparations. You will also collaborate closely with GSD functional subject matter experts in job aid management and process improvement, and liaise with R&D Clinical Quality Assurance and Training for procedural resolution and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate GSD TMF reviews and inspection readiness preparations.
  • Support vendor management, including evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance assessment.
  • Assist GSD functional managers with purchase order, accrual, and invoice tracking.
  • Liaise with Processes & Procedures in tracking and resolving GSD procedural deviations.
  • Monitor GSD training compliance.
  • Lead BSO initiatives and manage resources strategically.

Location

Ideally onsite at our West Chester, PA location three days a week. Remote work is considered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master or PhD in statistics, data science, computer science, life sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Expertise in statistical, programming, and medical writing processes.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials and regulations.
  • Project management skills with experience in regulatory activities.
  • Experience working with vendors or CROs on clinical trial-related activities.
