Job Summary
The Associate Director, Data Integrity at Chicago Booth is responsible for maintaining alumni data accuracy across Chicago Booth and University systems. This role collaborates with various departments to ensure the timely and precise entry of essential constituent data. Key responsibilities include managing the Booth Advancement Data Integrity team, overseeing data projects, and participating in university-wide working groups on data integrity and technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain alumni and donor data within Phoenix, the Salesforce CRM used by Chicago Booth’s Office of Advancement.
- Develop standards for managing new data elements to enable future extraction and analysis.
- Lead data integrity efforts for Chicago Booth’s Constituent Facing Platform.
- Create audit reports and execute data maintenance strategies in collaboration with Analytics.
- Manage the reconciliation of email preferences in Marketo.
- Field data requests from colleagues and alumni.
- Represent Booth Advancement in data management and governance projects.
- Drive data acquisition projects, enhancing data update methods while maintaining accuracy.
- Utilize tools for mass data management to ensure swift updates.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving data entry, auditing procedures, and data quality.
- Document data structures and business processes in collaboration with data maintenance teams.
- Supervise the Data Integrity team, including mentoring and managing daily tasks and professional development.
- Manage tasks and projects of temporary data assistants as needed.
- Provide guidance on prospect research, prospect management, strategic planning, and market research.
- Train staff on fundraising, report writing, and research methodologies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Work Experience:
5-7 years of relevant work experience.
Certifications:

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree.
Experience:
- At least five years of data entry/maintenance or research-related experience in an academic or corporate setting.
- Minimum two years of management experience with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Four years of experience in data mining, research, and database maintenance.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Proficient in technology tools including Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, and DemandTools. Experienced with the Microsoft Windows environment and applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
