Key Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our legal team, you will:

• Act as the primary legal advisor for our AI product and policy teams, guiding them through research, development, and publication phases.
• Develop and implement practical legal risk mitigation strategies for new AI and ML initiatives across various global jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including public policy, communications, product management, and engineering—to ensure cohesive policy development and product launches.
• Navigate complex and overlapping legal issues such as data protection, IP rights, consumer protection, and beyond.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or foreign equivalent.
• Membership in at least one US state bar.
• Minimum of 10 years’ legal experience, ideally gained in a mix of law firm and in-house settings, particularly within the internet or technology sectors.
• Substantial background in product or regulatory counseling focusing on privacy, data security, consumer protection, and intellectual property law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience dealing with AI-powered products.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and reliably under tight deadlines in a robust environment.
• Strong collaborative skills and proven efficacy in managing complex, high-impact projects across a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning technologies is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this role is competitively set at $226,000 to $304,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. This base salary is complemented by a generous package including bonuses, equity, and additional benefits.
