Position: Associate Skills Developer

We are actively seeking Associate Skills Developers to join our Pune office. In this role, you will build new data analytics models and develop data processing code for Aera’s cognitive applications, known as Aera “Skills.” These skills are utilized by many of the world’s largest organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data crawlers to extract data from customer sources using Aera’s proprietary ETL platform, and troubleshoot issues during data loading and processing.
• Design and build data warehouse models in columnar databases.
• Develop data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand and implement customers’ business requirements.
• Perform data analysis for complex use cases using SQL.
• Document technical specifications for cognitive applications developed for customers.
• Own the entire development and implementation workflow.
• Ability to build a software user interface (UI) using the proprietary Aera UI builder.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of development experience.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
• Proficient in transforming datasets using Python and SQL to meet business needs.
• Knowledgeable in Python development and experience with libraries such as Pandas and Numpy.
• Basic understanding of BI domain, DWH concepts, and reporting.
• Experience working directly with customers and presenting ideas effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and terminology.
• Applied Java programming skills.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with JSON and XML files.
• Experience using APIs.
