As a Senior Java Developer, you'll contribute your design and development expertise to a dedicated squad. You'll utilizie Continuous Integration tools and best practices to support Deutsche Bank’s digital transformation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Strong solution design capability
  • Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software
  • Perform peer code reviews
  • Actively participate in squad activities and ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups/scrum meetings)
  • Engage in Dev chapter lead activities
  • Implement continuous integration best practices (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)
  • Collaborate with squad members to meet squad/sprint objectives
  • Update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
  • Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
  • Ensure quality of your solutions
  • Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities

Your Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in coding within the Big Data Hadoop domain
  • Experience in creating extensive software applications
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology for software solutions
  • Ability to handle large data volumes to derive business intelligence
  • Skills to analyze data, uncover insights, and recommend data-driven strategies
  • Proficiency in OOP languages (Java, C++, Python)
  • Understanding of database theories, structures, categories, properties, and best practices
  • Experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing Hadoop
  • Possessing an analytical mindset and ability to learn-unlearn-relearn concepts
  • Expertise in Apache Spark and Scala programming
  • Capability to convert technical requirements into exceptional designs
  • Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, and DBA
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem
