What You'll Do

As a Bigdata Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and test critical applications within Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Engineering.
• Create robust technical solutions focused on quality, scalability, and performance.
• Engage collaboratively with business units, product management, and the PMO during product roadmaps and quarterly planning sessions.
• Partake in code and design reviews to identify issues early and reduce rework.
• Ensure stable production operations prioritizing uptime, performance, and reliability.
• Operate effectively within a global team of engineers, promoting seamless collaboration and communication.

What You Know

Required Qualifications:

• At least 7+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in MicroServices, Java APIs, and cloud deployments, preferably on AWS.
• Expertise in Java, Spring boot, Microservices, and AWS or Cloud Native Deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Gradle, or Maven.
• Advanced knowledge in architecture and design of secure, high-performance solutions using SOLID design principles.
• Experience in cloud-based, containerized environments and orchestration solutions like AWS.
• Strong capabilities in both SQL and NoSQL database programming.
• Proven abilities in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and troubleshooting tools like Splunk, Datadog.

Education

BS in Computer Science or a related field required; MS degree preferred.
