- Clarifies and translates business requirements into IT system functional requirements, system interactions, and flows.
- Cooperates with both business users and technical delivery teams to create scalable and flexible IT solutions, which includes studying the impacts on both the business and system, creating user stories, functional designs, and test strategies.
- Understands the business context of the requirements, identifies any gaps, and works with the business to update requirement documentation.
- Based on the translated system feature list, evaluates the impact on existing applications and determines necessary changes.
- Develops functional solution design specifications that the IT technical team can use to develop the corresponding technical solution design specification.
- Converts the requirements into a mapping document that the IT technical team can use to build the ETL jobs.
- Participates in project meetings to provide clarity and guidance to the technical delivery team regarding the functional solution design specification. Updates the functional solution design specification as required.
- Develops test cases and scripts to verify that the delivered IT systems function as specified in the functional solution design specification.
- Analyzes, assesses impact, prioritizes, and updates the functional solution design document for any additional change requests raised by the business.
- Performs data mapping based on DWH data design and model.
- Performs data profiling to identify any data quality issues.
- Provides support for Application/Reporting as needed (24*7).
Requirements
- Experience in the banking sector, preferably in Risk/Finance.
- Practical experience with SQL Query (Preferably Teradata / Hadoop /Oracle) – Intermediate / Advanced.
- Experience in supporting application/Reporting.
- Knowledge of FSLDM (Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model)
