About the Role: Business Insight Analyst

Sky Mavis is on the hunt for a Business Insight Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our data and business teams to derive actionable insights that drive the success of our products and game studios. Your expertise will guide data-driven recommendations for product roadmaps and corporate strategies. You will also integrate external consumer data (both Web 3 and Web 2) with our internal data to generate strategic insights for the management team.

Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the Product Strategy, Games Publishing, and Business Development teams to leverage data for maximum business impact. This role offers the opportunity to transform data into valuable business intelligence, significantly influencing our strategic planning and execution to maximize customer impact.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate data-driven reports for various stakeholders, utilizing both internal and external data to identify key trends and provide crucial insights for our business and product lines.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses on game performance, sales, and token launches, providing insightful recommendations for future launches.
• Translate business needs into data problems and work cooperatively with internal data teams to create actionable deliverables.
• Conduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with senior team members to propose recommendations that shape company and product strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of peer and competitor positioning as well as the emerging crypto landscape to inform strategic insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with complex data and business problems.
• Strong understanding of blockchain data and its applications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, across various audiences and levels.
• Ability to work flexibly across global time zones.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Proficiency in data scripting languages, with a focus on creating actionable insights and product recommendations.
• Experience in gaming, consumer products, and blockchain is a significant advantage.
• Management consulting experience is a plus.
