Position Overview

At Navy Federal Credit Union, we are looking to hire a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst I to help us leverage actionable business intelligence to enhance decision-making processes across the organization. This pivotal role involves consulting with management and business units, applying best practices, and conducting complex analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

• Evaluate operational efficiencies and develop solutions to enhance business performance.
• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis on operational functions and business processes.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop and maintain performance metrics and targets.
• Implement and refine data gathering and analysis methods to support data-driven decisions.
• Analyze competitor data and industry trends to better position the business unit.
• Design and document sophisticated reporting tools including dashboards and alerts.
• Develop strategic solutions by collecting and analyzing business data, and making informed recommendations.
• Modify and enhance database and business intelligence systems to meet new business and system requirements.
• Work alongside senior management and business units for strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• Extensive experience in statistical methods, market research, and business analysis.
• Proven capability of managing complex, multi-dimensional projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in statistical and database software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of project life cycles and management methodologies.
• Familiarity with Navy Federal Human Resources policies and object-oriented principles.
• Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.
