Deadline Date: Tuesday 3 October 2023 Requirement: Assistant, Data Analysis Location: Mons, BE Full time on-site: Yes Time On-Site: 100% Not to Exceed Rate: 57 EUR Total Scope of the request (hours): 400 Required Start Date: 13 November 2023 End Contract Date: 31 December 2023 Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET Duties and Role: - Build and configure Excel reports; - Respond to data-related queries and keep track of them; - Analyse data to identify trends; - Set up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient; - Research new ways to make use of data; - Produce reports and charts communicating trends within data to non-specialists; - Perform other duties as may be required; - Assist in analyzing budgetary data and identify significant trends and deviations for short and long term planning purposes; - Support in performing in-year reviews of DCSU financial execution; - Support monitoring DCU's Financial dashboards; - Support in managing and reporting against DCSU's portfolio of services, projects and other work. Requirements: Skill, Knowledge & Experience: - The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance - Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 1 year's post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 3 years post-related experience - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, experience in office communication; - High level of organizational and coordination skills; - Excellent knowledge and experience of data management; - Staff experience with financial and administrative processes to support resource planning, budgeting and management in a technical environment; - Experience designing and maintaining databases and data systems. - Experience extracting data from both secondary and primary sources and then formatting them in an easy-to-read format; - Prior experience of working in an inter-governmental/international environment; - Experience using statistical tools to interpret data sets, data patterns and specific data trends; - Experience creating reports in Excel; - Experience in Power BI; - Experience in ServiceNow.
