A Little More About the Role:
We’re searching for a Principal Clinical Data Analyst. Your role will be to construct the basis of robust clinical intelligence, informatics, and analytics to assist us in reaching our goals based on our work - developing a health plan that people will appreciate. You will evaluate our present system, pinpoint the biggest opportunities, and design a roadmap to realize those opportunities. You will report to our Director of Data Strategy & Analytics and collaborate closely with our Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Navigation, Product, Strategy, Data, and Reporting teams.

Your duties will include:
• Formulating the strategy for the application of clinical data to attain the desired clinical and financial outputs for our members and Gravie. Making a clinical business case for new programs including savings models and clinical outcomes to accomplish our clinical strategy
• Actively identify, develop, and implement analyses to discover areas of opportunity, and present recommendations that shape the product and technology roadmap
• Developing a strategy for how clinical data can be used to strengthen interactions with members, and provide guidance to our growing team of Clinical Care Navigators
• Collaborating with our Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to visualize how actionable insights and data can benefit our Care Advocates, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Members
• Working closely with our centralized Data and Analytics team to ensure that Clinical data can efficiently serve the entire company
• Teaming up with data science teams to conceive new methods of proactively identifying members with priority clinical needs
• Delivering key insight trends using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the team
• Showing a strong sense of ownership for all clinical analytics even where ownership may reside with the respective functional or clinical areas
• Developing & handling frameworks to guarantee the clinical effectiveness of new clinical programs
• Creating effective relationships, listening, communicating, and influencing across the organization

Your qualifications include:
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; a higher degree or additional relevant training is preferable
• 8+ years of relevant experience with clinical data and informatics, with a high degree of comfort with clinical terminology and libraries
• A variety of experiences executing both clinical and company-wide data strategies, building and delivering on roadmaps, and developing a team of high-performance individuals
• Experience with health insurance, health plans, clinical programs, care navigation or adjacent industries
• Prior experience working with a team in a high growth and fast-paced environment
• A history of managing complex processes and multi-layered projects
• A proven track record of achieving results through collaboration
• Strong technical skills in data modeling, mathematics, statistics, and data science principles
• Advanced SQL and statistical programming (Python, R, etc.) skills
• Experience managing environments with heavy data governance, data protection, and security requirements
• Passion for building impactful health benefit products and delivering incredible customer experiences
