Position Overview:

As a Construction/Telecom Power BI Data Analyst at Atlantic Engineering Group, you will fill a crucial role in the development and administration of Business Intelligence (BI) tools. This position involves a robust interaction with data sets, requiring top-notch analytical skills for validation and analysis, training stakeholders on new reporting protocols, and effectively managing data using advanced tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Combine and validate datasets for thorough analysis.
  • Assess the value and impact of incoming data sources.
  • Implement and conduct training on new reporting and analytical procedures.
  • Utilize various databases and analytics tools to manage data proficiently.
  • Analyze disparate data sources, including surveys and construction schedules, to identify trends and insights.
  • Work closely with business owners to tailor data solutions to their needs.
  • Design and deliver data-driven targeted communications.
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance organization-wide data utilization.
  • Engage in change management to define needs for report generation and data analysis.
  • Create accurate reports for internal stakeholders and manage project status updates.
  • Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency in data handling.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Dive deep into data mining to drive corporate decision-making.
  • Handle additional projects or duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience with at least 2 years as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools and programming languages.
  • Advanced PowerBI skills and familiarity with SQL and Snowflake are preferred.
  • Experience in Telecom/OSP Construction is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data warehousing concepts.
  • Must handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.

Physical Requirements: This role requires prolonged periods of sitting, occasional standing and moving, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
