Job Description

Become a member of our team of business transformation specialists at Createch, a Talan company. As a Data Engineering Consultant, your role will be client-oriented, combined with project management and support responsibilities. You will act as a subject matter expert on a wide-ranging technology portfolio, with a major focus on the SAP analytics suite and innovations from other vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating customer requirements accurately in order to conceptualize highly effective data solutions;
• Identifying pertinent data variables with a future-orientated perspective, based on client needs and industry dynamics;
• Creating, validating, and implementing data architectures;
• Representing technical expertise with our client partners, by transforming technical concepts into comprehensible and accessible terms;
• Collaborating with and uniting multidisciplinary teams for the deployment of optimized business processes;
• Ensuring diligent follow-up with clients to assess the performance of the implemented projects and pinpoint new areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• You are proficient in data modeling, their concepts, and their application in at least one modern tool (SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA DB, MS Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, etc.);
• You have a solid understanding of SAP ERP systems and are familiar with the data flows and models associated with the most common SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, PUR, SD, PM, HR, etc.);
• You are skilled in application and database development concepts; SQL is crucial, but Javascript, Python, and ABAP are also valued;
• Experience in the design and development of data integration flows is appreciated;
• Demonstrated end-to-end project management (E2E) skills, including a consultative approach and the use of project management tools (Asana, MS Project, Jira, Excel, etc.);
• You are adept at both deployment and development of data visualization tools, including SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French, along with a demonstrated aptitude for customer relationship management. Your past deliverables showcase your ability to simplify and clarify complex technical concepts for a diverse (functional to technical) audience.
