What You'll Do

As a Cybersecurity Data Engineering Director, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for managing a multi-platform data ecosystem aimed at integrating and warehousing security-relevant information. Your role involves:

• Designing, developing, and managing large-scale data systems
• Creating efficient processes for data capture, normalization, and management
• Recommending and implementing high-end business strategies
• Managing staffing, performance, and team direction based on demand
• Providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to functional units
• Interfacing with several products and technologies including Oracle Exadata, Google BigQuery, Splunk, MongoDB, and more

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 6+ years of related technical and business experience
• Technical leadership experience, including decision-making and people management
• Experience with Big Data frameworks, querying tools, and analytics tools
• Functional knowledge of firewalls, networking, operating systems, databases, and storage
• Experience with Regex, scripting, programming, NoSQL, SQL, data modeling, and schema design
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

It would be great if you also have:

• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Talend, or other ELT/ETL solutions
• Experience with Splunk Administration, SIEM, SOAR systems, and security event correlation
• Experience with repository management systems like GIT
• Experience in enterprise-scale operations
• An MS degree with equivalent work experience and relevant certifications
